Hello friends!

My name is Shana, the photographer behind ShanaFeeleyPhotography. I am a nerdy coffee lover who always has a camera in her hands! I began my journey into photography a few years ago when my brother and sis in law bought me a camera as a thank you for doing alteration and sewing work on their wedding. Right out of high school I opened a small boutique along the waterfront of lake Ontario in Olcott NY, where I sold my fashion designs and costume designs. I was always a fan of photography and had goals to eventually get myself a camera to photograph my fashion design work however I fell more in love with photography than I was with sewing and design. Now five years later photography is my full time job and I'm OBSESSED! Its so magical creating art with so many wonderful and talented people!

I finally feel like I found my place and what I am meant to do with my life, capture memories and moments in time! I have been published in over 50 magazines including internationally as well as over 30 front and back COVERS! Ive even had my work featured both on the cover of Comic Books and inside them too! I am a big fan of creative portraits that tell a story and I think you will see this in my work. I love rich, vibrant tones that are true to life hues paired with a bit of moody shadows. Green and blues are my favorite to photograph.

I try to bring out my clients true self in the photos and to keep our sessions easy and stress free! I am incredibly dorky, happy and very ungraceful ( I trip over nothing!) but I love who I am and I want you to love yourself as well. I try to create a work environment that really shows off you, your costume or whichever theme of our session.

A few fun facts about me is I love Dungeons and Dragons, I'm a huge dice goblin with a. collection of over 100 sets and hoping to get more! I have two kitties and chances are you've seen photos of them on my instagram stories lol! I love video games and reading, I also like to draw digitally with photoshop when I have free time.

I am open to suggestions on creative shoots or collabs, but I limit myself to 1-2 a month. As much as I wish I could do more, these take away from my income so my paid gigs are always a priority, however I think you'll see that when I do a creative session it is just as special as my paid gigs!
